The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is the first trust to have achieved the SchoolMark accreditation.
SchoolMark is the quality assurance scheme developed in consultation with the Department for Education and awarded by the Institute of School Business Leadership. It assesses nine different areas of school resource management and operations, celebrates best practice and helps organisations to raise the standards of their school management.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø CEO Joshua Coleman said: “We are pleased to be the first trust to have achieved the SchoolMark and by being part of the inaugural pilot, we were able to feedback and help shape the structure of this accreditation going forward.
“We are continually striving to improve wherever we can and this process was a good opportunity for us to look again at our school management and finance and identify areas where we could do things more effectively, raising our standards and making sure that we are best placed to provide the good-quality teaching and learning which supports pupil progress and better outcomes.”
Stephen Morales, Chair of the Institute of School Business Leadership, who award SchoolMark, said: “By achieving the SchoolMark accreditation, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø have proved to themselves and their stakeholders that they have robust procedures and processes in place and that their resources are being managed efficiently to provide the best possible education for the children at their schools. Congratulations ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø!”
